About Me

Hi, I’m Mye. I’m a content writer, a mother, and an outdoor enthusiast.

This site will feature my personal experiences when it comes to hiking in the Philippines and how nature’s healing energies helped me overcome anxiety and depression.

As a freelance content writer, I didn’t have much time for my own blog as I was juggling a full-time job and freelance work in-between. Eventually, I realized there is no better way to showcase your writing style than through your own website. For content writing services, you can contact me here.

There was a time I invited colleagues who were interested in outdoor activities to climb with me. We formed a recreation group called Chasing Adventures Club and invited colleagues and friends outside our work environment.

The group embodied John Muir’s musings on wilderness; that wilderness is a necessity when our over-civilized personas need to take a break from nerve-shaking demands of modern city life.

This site will also feature content related to health and lifestyle, personal essays, parenthood, anxiety and stress management, relationships, Nursing as a pre-med course, and pursuing a medical career in mid-life. It will showcase articles on authenticity, empowered womanhood, and life anecdotes that basically show how I treat life as an adventure.

This sense of adventure sustained me not only in outdoor activities but also in the way I look at life. It geared me up so I can take calculated risks. The same sense of adventure kept me going despite the setbacks and disappointments I encountered over the years.

I hope to keep on chasing adventures for as long as I can write about it. Let this blog be a reminder that life has so much beauty to offer despite all the shadows lurking in the dark.

If you’re someone dealing with anxieties over the uncertainties of life, know that it’s ok not to feel ok,  and know that your loved ones can definitely help you through. Remember that there is always someone who’s willing to listen. Getting professional help is the best thing you can do for yourself. Just keep holding on, put yourself first in your list of priorities, and believe better days are coming.

Life is an adventure – live it the best way you can!

Cheers!

Welcome to the club.
